About Dr Crow
Dr. Crow graduated summa cum laude with degrees in chemistry and biology from Saint Louis University. He went on to complete his medical degree at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine and graduated in 2001.
Dr. Crow has received extensive training in primary and revision knee and hip replacement surgery, as well as joint preservation procedures such as allograft and partial knee resurfacing. This background, along with attending continuing medical education courses, allows him to offer the most up-to-date surgical care for his patients.
According to Dr. Crow, listening is an important part of every medical exam but with the existing and increasing demands on providers, this has become a lost art. He believes that focusing on patients’ concerns is a great way to set them up for success. His ultimate goal is to restore function and provide pain relief to his patients by offering the utmost quality of surgical care.
Dr. Crow spends a great deal of time educating his patients on arthritis prevention and treatment, as well as pre-operative and post-surgical management. Dr. Crow’s primary goal is to manage symptoms conservatively, when possible, by using effective medical or physical therapies. When surgery is indicated, Dr. Crow provides the most advanced surgical options and specialized pain protocols that are designed to restore function and decrease recovery time.
Dr. Crow’s philanthropic efforts include his presence and commitment to Operation Access, an organization that provides no-cost surgery to patients from the Bay Area who cannot afford insurance or access to care. He is also involved with Tour de Cure, a yearly fundraising effort in Napa Valley for the American Diabetes Association.
